On March 20th 2015 The Cabot Street Cinema (located conveniently at 286 Cabot St in Beverly, MA 01915) offered a presentation of Patty Ross LIVE in her Off Broadway show “It’ll Be Fine.” Coming out to a “dead” crowd who has not been given the chance to have a warm-up comedian (for whatever reason) can be difficult. However Patty was able to start off with a BANG!
Before long, Patty is able to bring you into her world of family, misfortune, sadness, laughter, success and triumph. Whether it is about traveling to Hollywood or Firemen braking down her door at seven in the morning Patty never fails to disappoint with a vast array of emotions. You will feel yourself become saddened by her losses and excited for her gains.
This show has a multitude of offerings for a variety of age groups. Although this performance is geared mostly towards middle aged women there are plenty of laughs, hoots, hollers and snickers to go around. If you happen to be an older audience member you will for sure find something in this performance to agree with or at least laugh about. If you are of a younger persuasion it will for sure give you something to ponder and even look forward to or have an understanding for.
Patty Ross is someone who knows what she wants out of both her life and show business. If this show is any indication she has sure managed to hit the nail on the head. So if you and your friends, colleagues and even significant other are looking for a fun, light hearted and overall exceptional night out look no further than Patty Ross’ “It’ll Be Fine.” However don’t take my word for it. See for yourself you’ll be glad you did!
